Dr. Goggin is a pastor-theologian based in Southern California. His academic work has primarily been focused on the doctrine of the Christian life. His current areas of research interest include ecclesiology, pastoral theology, and spiritual theology. As a pastor-theologian, Jamin believes his theological work is for the sake of the church. As a result, Jamin not only teaches at Talbot School of Theology, but also serves as director of content at Pastors.com. Jamin believes his calling includes writing, teaching, preaching and soul care. He is the co-author of Beloved Dust: Drawing Close to God by Discovering the Truth About Yourself (Thomas Nelson, 2014) and The Way of the Dragon or the Way of the Lamb (Thomas Nelson, 2017). He is also the co-editor of Reading the Christian Spiritual Classics (IVP, 2013).
