Kyle is a theologian with a particular interest in how the Spirit forms his people more and more into the likeness of Christ. While his academic work has focused on Jonathan Edwards, writing and editing several books about his theology and spirituality, Kyle’s more constructive work focuses on the doctrine of sanctification and the nature of human flourishing. As a theologian, Kyle believes his calling includes preaching, teaching, and writing for the church, and so much of his time is spent in those spaces. Kyle is on the preaching team of Redeemer Church, La Mirada, and continues to write books on the Christian life that are theologically-informed and that practically address what it is like in real life to walk in the way of Jesus.
